Jin Ki-joo worked at Samsung SDS in IT services for three years. After that, she won the Olivia Lauren Prize at the 2014 Supermodel Contest shifted her trajectory. And then she start launching into entertainment under FL Entertainment. Early shows like Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo (2016) as Chae-ryung tested her sageuk range. Midnight (2021) was a standout performance. In that show, she learned sign language over two months at a private academy. Finally she can master deaf character Kyung-mi. In her interview, Jin Ki-joo said she is introspective and bubbly, loving sign language (from Midnight), reading (she’s into self-help books), and cooking.
